Congratulations to the Scouts who have earned their Eagle Scout Rank in February 2022. Here is more information on their Eagle Scout Projects.

GaGa Court Built for Synagogue
My Eagle Scout service project was very special because it was suggested by Mr. Goldfarb, my
favorite youth soccer coach. He mentioned that his synagogue had been wanting a GaGa court built for a long time, but was waiting for the right opportunity to come along. After a quick discussion, we both agreed that I was the right person for the project. I spoke and met with board members at the temple and my Eagle Scout counselor and got the project rolling. This project will benefit the Phoenix, Arizona Beth El Temple community for many years to come.
Building this GaGa ball court gave me inspiration because it is a positive way to impact the
temple’s environment and looks awesome too. By providing recreational activity for students attending
Hebrew school or adults who just want to have fun, it is a way to bond and create memories. My goal
for an Eagle Scout project was to be meaningful to me and the community that it serves. In addition, I
wanted to complete a project that would last a long time and that I could visibly see its continued
benefits and how it has touched so many lives.
Working with Beth El Temple was a very rewarding experience. Their staff was amazingly
supportive of me throughout the entire process from the initial meeting to the completed court. I
continue to receive thanks from the synagogue long after the project has been completed.
