Our Goal
Sonoran Sunset District will connect:
- so that families will look first to Scouting for leadership and character development
- so that every youth will have the opportunity to participate and have meaningful growth experiences
- to serve the total available youth located in the Sonoran Sunset District
- with our adult volunteers by encouraging 100% engagement and training
- by promoting Council’s camping and program events and units engaged in Sonoran Sunset District activities
- by providing a path for established and new units to interface and maintain the traditions and vision of Scouts BSA
- scouting to the communities to be the #1 provider of service to those communities
